So I was made late to work because of some cowboy who apparently decided to rob a bank (there are about 50 million by Hunter) and run down into the train and run onto the tracks heading uptown. He even stripped off some clothes before doing it! FANtastic. Heyy.. these are hard times man and personally I feel if you're going to rob someone- rob someone who will get the money back from insurance and won't feel the difference. Hey maybe i'm an anarchist but personally I was rooting for the bad guy when I saw a whole gaggle of cops booking down the platform. I wasn't even that angry when I had to hoof it to 59th street to catch the N or W. Odd.
Anyways- great news! I've been moved up to "interview" status by the NYC teaching fellowship!!! So one hurdle done with- and phew! I was really surprised because even when I called them they told me they wouldn't be reviewing applications until midoctober and I got asked for an interview on the 2nd! I'm not questioning it I'm just very, very, very happy.
Continuing in the good news- my brother got married over the weekend and it went so very well. Beautiful weather, beautiful couple, not a hiccup in the whole thing. The day absolutely flewww by unfortunately. But there will be gorgeous pictures to follow! That is all for now, enough excitement for one entry! ha . ciao.
